Roc Search have partnered with a well-established public sector client who are looking for a Software Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will sit within a team of 5 other Devs and the Dev Manager as well as other techies! They are leading advancements in emerging technologies to deliver bespoke electronic and IT solutions in specialist areas to make the country a better place.
This position is an outstanding opportunity for a software developer with hands-on experience who wants to use, develop, and progress their skills. You will be working in an exciting development environment, delivering operational technology solutions. Whilst the technology stack is .NET and Vue JS, they are language agnostic and are open to applicants who are open to learn new tech. If you come from a background/knowledge of the MVC framework, it shouldnt take long to get up to scratch with .NET

The Technology, Research and Innovation team creates niche technology solutions for specialist areas of the organisation. Delivery of these utilises the complete lifecycle from developing requirements and working closely with the relevant stakeholders to producing solution designs, and creating fully functional products or systems.
You will be writing code to create bespoke and specialised software. You will utilise your skills in software development and engineering to build secure solutions to meet requirements, whilst enhancing the capability of the team using the department's development process and methodology.
