Senior Engineer - Embedded Systems Integration and Diagnostics - Lancashire - Potential Long Term Contract Opportunity - Work on Future Electrification Projects
A global market leader within commercial premium vehicle manufacturing are looking to engage with a Senior Embedded Systems Integration and Diagnostics Engineer, to work on a contract basis located at the manufacturing facility in Lancashire.
A great opportunity to be involved in modern technologies, work within a world-class Development team for a large international organisation, responsible for new product design and validation for the UK's market-leading commercial vehicle manufacturer.
You will develop vehicle systems and deliver embedded control systems solutions and their application into the business complex control systems for the next generation of sustainable commercial vehicles.
We are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high voltage EV embedded system integration solutions and their application into the vehicle platform.
- Meet project/program objectives while managing planning, milestones and KPIs.
- Work with stakeholders to develop HV integration and test strategy.
- Support product development and production issues.
- Become a recognised vehicle platform system owner for various embedded systems / ECU's / features.
- Stakeholder in the development of improving functional and systems testing and reporting solutions
- Be responsible for the workflow of introducing embedded system engineering changes into production time scales.
Experience:
- Significant experience of delivering/managing ECU and software/hardware/electronics systems.
- Knowledgeable of Automotive (or related industry)
- Functional Safety Experience
- Knowledge of Cyber Security
- Use of Network/CAN J1939 and diagnostic design/verification tools.
- A good communicator
