We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our client in Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer and ideally come from the Rail industry or similar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the technical link between all departments including Design, Sales and Installations to manage and deliver multiple design lead projects from cradle to grave
- Liaise with suppliers and the design department to feedback customer requirements and ensure the right components and products are sourced
- Attend client sites across the UK and globally where necessary to undertake site surveys and ensure installations are completed correctly.
- Liaise with clients and customers to ensure projects are delivered correctly, to budget and on time
Key Attributes:
- Rail industry essential but ideally Rolling Stock/ Carriages/ Rail Vehicle background
- 5+ years' experience
- Knowledge of CAD Design to lead design based projects
