Roc Search`s client is looking for a highly motivated QA Analyst / Engineer to join our growing award winning team in the UK. They are seeking a dedicated QA Analyst/Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) stack web application.

You will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, identifying issues, and collaborating closely with developers to maintain a high quality application. While developing automation will be part of this role, prior experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

* Test Planning: Identify key objectives within a user journey, define test objectives, create test plans, and set priorities based on project requirements.
* Test Execution: Execute manual test cases, focusing on functionality, usability, and stability.
* Bug Reporting: Identify, track, and prioritize bugs, providing timely feedback to the development team.
* Regression & Performance Testing: Conduct regression tests post-deployment and performance tests to ensure standards are met.
* Documentation: Maintain and update test cases, scripts, and reports, ensuring thorough project documentation. Role Requirements
* Experience in manual QA/testing for web-based SaaS applications.
* Background in writing automated tests or a degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
* Competency in API testing and related tools.
* Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and tools.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).

Desirable Skills & Experience

* Experience in testing software with 3D rendering components.
* Interest in 3D graphics and related applications.
* Experience with C# applications and desktop application testing.
* Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
* Experience with scripted testing libraries and tools (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium, Jest).
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
