Project Engineer

Role: Project Engineer
Location: Goole
Area: Central Engineering
Rate: £350/day (Outside IR35)

Key Duties:

• Prioritize Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards and behaviours for yourself and others.
• Organize projects and meetings, involving various stakeholders internal and external to the business.
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets and timeframes, and adjust where appropriate.
• Ensure all designs and documentation are updated, signed off, and meet current regulatory standards.
• Support the detailed development of Capital Project Justifications.
• Coordinate and, when needed, supervise appointed works on-site.
• Create and update regular project reports.

Key Skills:

Strong Civil skills and knowledge
Project management skills with experience in coordination and management of multiple different-sized projects (Valued from Circa £30k to £5m).
Proven Health & Safety qualifications and experience. IOSH an advantage, and CDM awareness ideal but not essential.
Confident communicator, capable of dealing with various technical and non-technical colleagues, operating collaboratively across different teams.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, provide innovative ideas, and deliver practical solutions to complex problems.
Proven qualifications and experience within engineering and/or facilities/maintenance (electrical or mechanical).
Ideal experience in Logistics Operations (Storage, picking, and facility systems) or similar.
