Contract Opportunity: Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with an EC&I background to join our client's team on a potentially long-term contract. You will collaborate with the project team on key functions such as project documentation, job cost tracking, scheduling, and construction oversight.

You will work on various smaller-scale projects within a chemical manufacturing environment, managing timelines, contractors, and the overall project execution. This is an exciting opportunity offering competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver smaller-scale projects within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Work closely with the on-site management team to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track and manage project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the design process and coordinate with contractors.
  • Manage financial and accounting aspects of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, or management.
  • Previous experience working in a COMAH regulated or process environment.
  • Good knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
