Job Title: Cable Jointer - 320kV DC Experience

Location: East Anglia , UK

Contract Type: Contract - 6 month minimum

Start Date: End of September

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cable Jointer with expertise in 320kV DC systems to join our dynamic offshore wind farm team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects, ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage submarine cables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform cable jointing and termination on 320kV DC systems.
- Conduct installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage DC cables for offshore wind farms.
- Perform fault location, diagnosis, and repairs on submarine cables.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate documentation of jointing activities, test results, and maintenance reports.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in cable jointing, specifically with 320kV DC cables.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Certification in high-voltage cable jointing (320kV DC preferred).
- Strong understanding of offshore wind farm operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work at heights and in challenging offshore environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work offshore on a rotational schedule.
