Mechanical Superintendent - Long-Term Contract (East Yorkshire, Outside IR35)
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join a major long-term project in the chemical and process industries. This is a contract position outside of IR35, offering the flexibility of a self-employed role with competitive rates and long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all mechanical activities on-site and ensure smooth operation of mechanical systems.
- Lead and manage mechanical teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless project operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent within the chemical and process industries.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Immediate availability preferred.
