Roc Search has an urgent 12 month contract for a CHC Programme Manager to join our West Midlands NHS/ICB client.

Date rate: Band 8a - £243 per day (inside IR35/Umbrella)
Hours: 37.5 hours a week


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to support the implementation of a portfolio of change and service improvement work across our All Age Continuing Healthcare Service. The post holder will be working collaboratively with teams across the ICB and with colleagues at all levels of the organization as well as external stakeholders, supporting in the development and benefits realisation of core programmes of work.

Substantial experience of planning and delivering projects and/or programmes to time including expert knowledge and experience of programme management will be essential for the role. The post holder will also require experience of writing Board level reports and presentations, including ability to analyse reports and complex data analysis skills, as well as confident communication and advisory skills.

The post holder will provide expert support to clinical and operational teams to progress the implementation of change and service improvement across a broad range of projects. This will include planning for, executing and embedding service and process change in order to maximise the benefits, be that quality improvement, cost saving or both, whilst ensuring that robust governance processes are followed.

The Job holder will be accountable for:

  • the delivery of key strategic priorities through the provision of specialist change management and programme oversight and drawing on their own experience knowledge of clinical areas and pathways understanding the challenges and opportunities across our system.
  • The post holder will lead on the delivery of key agreed initiatives.
  • Improve patient experience of care, including quality and satisfaction.
  • Improve the health populations.
  • Deliver joint commissioning requirements with support of the ICB senior leadership team.
  • Design and deliver strategic programmes of work and increase personalisation within these areas.
