2nd Line Support Engineer (Field)- Gloucester

The successful candidate will be IT Support for both my client's head office and retail stores, with regular travel that will be fully expensed. This role includes a variety of daily tasks and you will need to have a broad knowledge of IT Support. My client is a market leading powerhouse and this is an incredible opportunity to expand your knowledge and skillset within a fast-paced environment and successful company.

2nd Line Support Engineer (Field)
Salary: Up to £30,000/annum
Based in Gloucester
Start date - ASAP

Requirements:

  • You will be required to work on-site
  • UK driving license and own car needed (expenses will be paid)
  • 6+ months in a previous IT Support role (1st and 2nd line experience)
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, OneDrive and SharePoint) and Apple OS administration
  • Excellent customer services skills and communication
  • Mobile Device Management
  • Good understanding of computer hardware
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Ability to demonstrate and good understanding of Networking and Security skills
  • Able to move around without assistance

Key Skills and Experience:

Desirable:

  • Apple OS
  • Exposure to Fortinet
  • Linux administration
  • Good scripting knowledge
  • VPN and VLAN management
  • PDQ administration/troubleshooting
  • Virtual Machine Management (Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, VM-ware)
